Welcoming OCN London to the Friends of the Cyber Resilience Centre for London network

The Cyber Resilience Centre for London are pleased to announce the latest addition to the Friends of the CRC for London network. This initiative brings together a wide range of organisations, including Business Improvement Districts, non-profits, and other business service providers, who are all united by a desire to support the joined-up approach necessary to tackle cybercrime in the business community.

OCN London, a not-for-profit awarding organisation providing national qualifications for a wide range of education and training providers, community groups, charities and employers, have joined a fast-growing cohort of organisations across the City who are committed to championing the mission of making London the safest city in the world to do business online.

I am delighted that OCN London has joined the London Cyber Resilience Centre as it is an area of business close to my heart. Becoming a Friend of the CRC for London is testament to the high value we place on the service provided by the CRC; supporting London’s SME businesses to reduce reputational damage and financial loss through improved cyber resilience.  It is hoped that by working in partnership with the London CRC we support bridging the gap between cyber expertise and knowledge within London’s business community.

Carlos Cubillo-Barse, CEO of OCN London

It’s fantastic to have another like-minded organisation on board to help us in our mission to support small-to-medium-sized enterprises across London. This collaboration is a natural fit due to OCN London’s ethos of helping to create a fairer society. Their work has a focus on stimulating economic prosperity and empowering organisations with the learning tools and resources that they need to succeed, a set of values that harmonise with our purpose here at the CRC for London.

We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with the team at OCN, and are excited to see the positive impact we can make on the City’s business community together.

Simon Newman, CEO of the Cyber Resilience Centre for London
