James Watkins is the Head of Policy and Public Impact at the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry. James is the author of “Religion and Global Capital Markets” and “Islamic Finance and Global Capitalism” as published by Palgrave Macmillan. James was the Political Adviser to the Japanese Government based at the Embassy of Japan in London and he has also supported a number of Parliamentarians. He was previously the Chief Executive of national and regional business lobby groups. James Watkins is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Sciences and has gained a Masters in Asia-Pacific studies from the University of Leeds.
